Student Match with University
For the second year, we have implemented our ‘reverse matching’ application strategy for seniors. The process begins with a workshop where students create detailed, attractive profiles showcasing their achievements and interests. Each month, universities review these profiles and make admission offers, often with scholarships, directly to students. The ‘reverse matching’ approach flips the traditional application process: instead of students applying to universities, the universities come to them with opportunities.
We see this as an exciting and valuable option for our seniors and another way to provide as many global opportunities as possible for St. Paul students.
After just two months of offers, the Class of 2026 has already received 193 admissions offers totaling $11.2 million in scholarships. On average, each student received 6.23 offers with an average scholarship of $362,000 per student—a strong testament to the talent and dedication of our graduating Eagles.
