Tet Celebration 2025: A Joyful Day of Tradition
Last Friday, our school came alive with the vibrant spirit of Tet! Students and staff dressed in colorful Ao Dai and Hanbok, filling the campus with color and excitement.
The day was packed with fun activities and traditional games such as sack races, tug of war, and ring toss brought everyone together. The calligraphy, face painting, and crafting To He allowed students to explore their creativity. The delicious Banh Chung and Nem Ran, along with sweet cotton candy, fueled the festivities.
A thrilling dragon dance, face-changing acts, and magical tricks with Sun Wukong wowed everyone, creating unforgettable moments of surprise.
To wrap up this meaningful day, middle and high school students took the stage with incredible performances that showcased their talent and brought the Tet spirit to life. This special event united our community in joy, tradition, and celebration.

2 teams form randomly but equally to pull a rope.
Ring Toss
Each player starts with 5 rings at the starting line and throws all 5 rings in a turn. Aim to get the rings to land over the pins. If they can toss over a bottle, they can choose one gift from the list of toys.

Question Boxes about Vietnamese and Chinese Tet
Each student takes a turn to pick up a question from a question box and answer it. If they have a correct answer, they gain a ticket for themselves.
(The question box and the question-answer sheet will be prepared for the game leader)
Lucky Wheel
Students spin the wheel. They can choose a gift on the table if the needle lands on the snake.
Tail Pulling Game
The two students stand facing each other, count one, two, three, and the game begins. They must find a way to catch the other’s tail, and at the same time protect their own tail from being snatched away. The first to tear off all the opponent’s tail wins. Note that they can only run within the prescribed circle, the time is maximum 1 minute. The winner wins a ticket
Throwing Arrows in a Vase
Students stand behind the line, it will be 2 meters away, hold ten arrows, listen to the command and start throwing arrows into the bamboo tube. Each student will have 10 chances, The winner who can throw the most arrow into a vase wins a ticket.
Bamboo Ball
Students stand behind the designated line, hold 5 balls, listen to the command and start throwing balls into the opposite bamboo tube. The winner who can throw the most balls into the bamboo tube wins a ticket
Ping-pong ball shaking
Students bind the props of shaking table tennis balls on their waists. This prop is a small box with 20 table tennis balls inside. There is a small hole in the middle of the small box.
Students should keep shaking their bodies and drive the small box to shake up and down within the prescribed 2 minutes
The winner who shakes more balls out of the box wins a ticket.
Chinese Cuju
Student will gain a ticket by kicking the Cuju into the goal at the starting line (set the starting line 2 – 4 meters from the goal, the teacher can adjust it according to specific on-site conditions )
Each student will have 3 chances.
note: the base needs to be filled with water
Chuiwan Hockey
-Students place the ball on the starting line. It will be 2 to 3 meters away from the goal.
-The ball goes into the goal to win 1 ticket.
Shuttlecock Kicking
-Version 1: Some students stand in one row but play individually. The game leader can give them some time to practice before playing. If a player can maintain 5 contacts they win a ticket
-Version 2: students can play together standing in a circle (2-10). If the group can maintain 5 contacts, each member gets a ticket
Monkey Bridge Walking
Balancing on a bamboo pole, players walk on a bamboo stick which is linked by a rope between high ground and a pole. One ticket was earned to finish the bridge.
Throwing cans
Student tosses a slipper to the 3 cans. If the cans fall, they win a ticket
Ring toss
Each student is given 3 rings to play the game. If they can toss over a bottle, they can get a ticket.
Pinata
Blindfolded players stand at a line, 3 to 5 meters from the rope, and use a drumstick to hit a drum. [They can be spun around several times].
Balloon Popping
Players can exchange 1 ticket with 3 darts to pop the balloons. If they can break a ball, they can get 2 tickets

Yunnori
You need to make a group of three or four which include at least one non Korean student or teacher. Winner team gets 2 tickets
Ttangttameokgi (Korean Hopscotch)
Simply draw 9 blocks on the floor in a specific shape and write down the numbers from 1 to 9 in each block
Make a group of three. Take turns to play. If you succeed in all numbers from 1 to 9, your team can get tickets.
Gongginori (Korean Jackstone)
If you succeed in 5 stages, you win 1 ticket.
