PALs: First Parent Meeting 2025 – 2026

We were excited welcome parents back for our first PALs (Parents as Leaders) Meeting of the school year. The session brought together many families who were eager to connect, share, and learn more about upcoming actvities at St. Paul.

First PALs Meeting of the Year: Building Connections and Community

A New Meeting Format

To make our PALs sessions more engaging and relevant, we introduced a new structure. The meeting began with a short whole-school session led by our Executive Director, where we shared updates on school-wide activities and upcoming events. Parents then joined smaller division meetings with their respective principals for more focused discussions about Elementary, Middle, and High School.

Upcoming Events & Volunteer Opportunities

Our school community thrives when parents get involved, and PALs plays a big role in making that possible. During the meeting, we shared exciting opportunities for parents to participate:

  • Halloween Festival – Help with decorations (October 28–29) and volunteer at the event (October 31).

  • PALs Trips – Suggest activities, help with budgeting, and support planning.

  • Events Committee – Join to support major events such as Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Tet. Parents can participate flexibly, either as a pair or on an event-by-event basis.

Accreditation

Another important topic was accreditation renewal, a process that ensures our school continues to meet high international standards.

Living Our Mission

We also took time to reflect on what it means to be a community that is “Living Our Mission” — working together to provide an excellent learning environment and meaningful experiences for all of our students.

Division School Sessions

Principals met with parents in groups to talk more specifically about each division. The participants got to have space to focus on priorities of each school and give direct feedback.

Looking Ahead

The first PALs Meeting of the year was a wonderful start, setting the tone for a year of collaboration and community spirit. We are grateful to all the parents who attended and look forward to working side by side to create memorable moments for our students.

Thank you, PALs parents, for your energy, ideas, and support — together, we make our school stronger!
