Congratulations to 2022 St. Paul graduate, Le Hoai Ha, who has received a full scholarship offer from Morehead-Cain to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! This is an incredible achievement, as not only is UNC Chapel Hill considered one of the top-ranked universities in the United States, the Morehead-Cain scholarship is among the most prestigious merit-based scholarships in the US.
Le was super thrilled at receiving the offer, commenting that “it felt surreal. I have been continuously blown away by the generosity of the Morehead-Cain Foundation, and am beyond thankful that they see me as a member of their extraordinary community of supportive leaders and peers.”
Enrolled at St. Paul since 2016, Le has been a member of our Eagles Guitar group, and Captain of varsity soccer and volleyball teams, and she currently holds leadership positions as President of Student Council and Chief Editor of ‘The Courier’ student newspaper. The selection process for the Morehead-Cain scholarship is extremely rigorous, with only three percent of each year’s nominees selected as scholars, from a pool of around 160 finalists. Le’s dedication to learning, and commitment to extra-curricular opportunities provided at St. Paul have certainly paid off.
