Mid-Autumn Festival

The Mid-Autumn Festival, which this year falls on September 10, was celebrated at St. Paul with our annual Moon Festival festivities.

With the leadership of Ms. Liz, Ms. Rose, the teaching assistants and our local staff, students participated in many events during the celebrations.

Elementary students were dressed up in their traditional clothes to celebrate this colorful event. To kick off the event, they joined the traditional Bamboo Dance while holding their decorative star lanterns. Our elementary Eagles then had a chance to join mask painting where they were able to showcase their creative skills.

One of the most exciting activities was the tug-of-war competition in which we had participation from both students and teachers.

All elementary students and the secondary Vietnamese students had the opportunity to make traditional mooncakes guided by Ms. Phuong and Ms. Trang where students learned how to make different flavors of cakes.

Thank you to everyone who helped make it possible for our international community to participate in the local Vietnamese celebrations.
