The student support provided by St. Paul American School Hanoi is above and beyond what is offered in many international schools around the world. With small class sizes, and ample support from faculty, our staff is focused on providing lots of support to each-and-every student. Any kind of student can find success at our school, thanks to the top teachers and specialists on our campus.
St. Paul American school strives to provide a comprehensive counseling program supporting all students in gaining academic, college/career, social, and emotional skills to aid them in becoming productive global citizens.
All students participate in activities that foster community and healthy relationships. The students learn important lessons in the classroom, groups, and individually. We nurture students’ social emotional learning to help them work with students, staff, and the greater St. Paul community.
We currently employ one elementary school counselor and a middle school counselor. There is a high school counselor for social emotional learning and a college and career counselor. The College and Careers Counselor assists high school students with decisions about AP courses, college applications and career choices.
The School Health Center (SHC) is open Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 5:00 pm, and occasionally on weekends for events and games. Two qualified nurses are on staff full-time. The SHC also monitors daily air quality (AQI) on campus and notifies all staff & students via email notifications. To ensure student health, the school has air purifiers and AC units in every classroom.
St. Paul English Language Learner (SPELL) Program helps develop English language proficiency so students can engage in learning and critical thinking skills. Individual instruction and different support levels of classes help each student expand English skills and more.
