Terry has been an educator for 16 years and an international educator for 7 of those years. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in fine arts with a concentration on Graphic Design and Art History, and a minor in Creative Writing. He has taught AP Studio Art 2D, AP Studio Art Drawing and Art History for about 9 years and Department Head or Chair for 6 years, and had the opportunity to teach Design Thinking I and II, and be the facilitator for the Makerspace facilities for one year. He has led various after school programs from open art studios, strategy clubs, and VEX robotics clubs. All of his international experience has been in China and Vietnam. When not at school, you can either find Terry walking around or at a cafe with a sketchbook and camera in hand or at the local game store playing tabletop games.
