Mr. Steve has over 13 years of experience which includes everything from preschool age to 8th grade while teaching in the US, Tanzania, and Vietnam. He strongly believes that developing a positive learning community within the classroom is an important component of individual and whole-class success. Every student is celebrated and encouraged in Mr. Steve’s classroom!!

Mr. Steve is married to his wife Jenn and they have three children: Sadie is in Grade 6, Layla is in Grade 12 and Gavin is a Senior at Heidelberg University in Ohio. Outside of the class, Mr. Steve enjoys playing with the kids at recess, hanging out with his family, watching a movie, playing games, and drinking coffee.
