Mr Steve is excited to be moving to his 4th year of teaching  Grade 4 at St. Paul after spending two years back in the States. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Kent State University in the US.

Mr. Steve has over 13 years of experience which includes everything from preschool age to 8th grade while teaching in the US, Tanzania, and Vietnam. He strongly believes that developing a positive learning community within the classroom is an important component of individual and whole-class success. Every student is celebrated and encouraged in Mr. Steve’s classroom!!

Mr. Steve is married to his wife Jenn and they have three children: Sadie is in Grade 5, Layla is in Grade 11 and Gavin is a Junior at Heidelberg University in Ohio. Outside of the class, Mr. Steve enjoys playing with the kids at recess, hanging out with his family, watching a movie, playing games, and drinking coffee.
