Mr. Everett Porter is a 6th and 7th-grade ELA teacher. He is from Galveston, Texas, in the United States. Mr. Everett retired as a Master Training Specialist from the United States Navy in 2020 and has since taught ELA and Social Studies courses in Japan, Singapore, and Vietnam.

Mr. Everett is the proud father of three children. His oldest daughter recently graduated with her Master’s Degree in Public Health and is starting her career as a Certified Industrial Hygienist in Chicago, IL. His son recently graduated from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy with a degree in Civil Engineering and is now stationed in Miami, FL. His youngest child is a talented 7th-grade student in Japan.

In his free time, Mr. Everett is a published author and game creator. His “Kanyen” comic book series, his children’s book “Snow White and the 8 Capybaras,” and his educational games “Go Idiom Fishing,” “Don’t Get Stuck with Uncle Muck,” and “Beware of Sharks” are growing in popularity in Vietnam and abroad.
