Gus is from California, USA and before coming to Hanoi in 2020 he had spent the previous 17 years living in the Netherlands. After graduating from the University of Southern California with a degree in Business/Communications and a minor in History, Gus began work at Procter & Gamble before leaving to help build a tech startup company in Amsterdam which was eventually sold in 2015. He then made a career change and became the Registrar / College Application Coordinator at the American School of the Hague for just over 4 years before moving to St. Paul and becoming the College & Career Counselor for the 2021-2022 academic year.

Gus’ wife Kim works in the Elementary division at St. Paul and his 3 children also attend the school. Outside of school Gus enjoys anything where he gets to spend time with his family & friends.
