Ethan Blonder (Mr. Ethan / Coach Ethan) is back for his 5th year at SPASH and his 8th year in Hanoi! He grew up in Fairfax, VA, USA, going on to study Business and Economics at the College of William & Mary before transitioning to a career in teaching that brought him to Korea for one year, then Vietnam. At St. Paul, he teaches AP Economics and is the Assistant Athletic Director, in charge of many of the behind-the-scenes details that help our Athletics programs run smoothly. He will also continue leading the Girls Basketball program, which is coming off their winningest season in school history.

Outside of St. Paul, Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 year-old son, who will hopefully be a future St. Paul Eagle! He is always hunting for great street food all around Vietnam and is continuing to work on his Vietnamese language skills.
