Mr. David Poppinga is a SPELL teacher for the Elementary School program at St. Paul American School Hanoi. He is from San Francisco California in the United States. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Colorado State University. He has also received CELTA and TESOL English language teaching certifications.

Mr. David has extensive experience in the field of education as a teacher and coordinator. He has spent the last ten years in Hanoi at Hanoi Academy, British International School (BIS), and Vinschool Metropolis. Dr. David is married to his wife Nham and they have one daughter. In his free time, Dr. David enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and reading.
