Mr. Dwyer is from Minnesota, USA and studied Elementary Education and Mathematics at Luther College in Iowa. He has spent 10 years abroad in Asia including the Philippines, China, and Vietnam and has taught everything from Grade 1 Engineering up to Grade 9 Geometry. His passion for sports has led him to take on coaching roles for basketball and volleyball at various levels as well as spending a few years as an Athletic Director.

Outside of teaching, Mr. Dwyer loves playing and watching basketball. He also enjoys traveling, trying new foods and exploring new cultures. One of his favorite ways to do this in Asia is to visit local tea houses.
