Kate is an English teacher from Nashville, Tennessee in the United States. She has a B.A, in English Language and Literature with a minor in Theatre from Butler University in Indianapolis and did her graduate work in the Learning and Teaching MSc program at the University of Oxford.

Kate spent 12 years teaching in Istanbul, Turkey and has been teaching in Hà Nội for the last two years. She has worked with students preparing for the AP Language and Composition Exam as well as the IGCSE First Language English Exam. She has also supported students in prep programs preparing them for the IBDP English A Language and Literature course.

Kate is particularly interested in curriculum development that focuses on the needs and interests of students as well as in helping students to develop a genuine passion for learning.
