Janie is originally from Seattle, Washington. She has lived and worked in China, Hawaii, Taiwan, New York, Dubai, and Vietnam. She has 17 years of experience in the education field and enjoys working with both children and adults. Janie believes in making language learning relevant, interactive, and fun for all ages. She is a huge bookworm and enjoys reading on her own and to her students. Before settling into education, she also spent a lot of time working in theater. Janie enjoys being both on stage and behind the scenes and she uses a lot of theater techniques in her classes.
