On 28th August, we welcomed parents to campus for two meetings, Coffee with the Counselors and PALs (Parents As Leaders).
Coffee with the Counselors included meaningful conversations about social-emotional skills. Parents got to participate in an activity similar to an advisory class for our students.
For the PALs meeting, parents gained insight into class activities as they listened to presentations from our principals. Other members from leadership asked parents for feedback about getting more parent participation in sports, events, and the PALs organization Dr. Moo, our Executive Director, led the meeting, requested input, answered questions, and concluded with action items.
Special thanks to Boo Sung, a Senior who spent his free time with us to interpret the meeting from English to Korean. We appreciate all the parents who participated in this first school-year meeting.
