I grew up in Denver, Colorado and have spent almost 20 years in Austin, Texas working in education. I started as a math teacher at the middle school level for 10 years and then became a school counselor. This is my 10th year as a school counselor.

My husband and I met while both teaching math at the same school. I have no children of my own by I have an adorable niece and nephew that I love to spend time with. I love spending time with friends and family, running, hiking, all things outdoors, cooking and traveling.

I love getting to know all the students and find different ways to work together to come up with solutions to any problem that might have. I look forward to getting to know everyone.
