Lauren Thomson was born and raised in sunny South Africa, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Biology Education from Nelson Mandela University. After teaching in South Africa for several years, she moved to Vietnam in 2018 in search of new experiences, cultures, and travel opportunities.

Lauren is passionate about helping students develop critical thinking skills and a love of learning. She has a passion for biology, sharing her fascination with the natural world. Outside the classroom, Lauren can be found coaching the school swim team. In her free time, Lauren loves being in the water, exploring new places, and spending time in nature, whether spotting wildlife on safari or discovering life beneath the ocean’s surface.
