Born and raised in Minnesota (USA), Annie joins the St. Paul Community as the High School Counselor. Starting her career with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Juvenile Corrections, Annie began working as a behavioral interventionist in schools where she collaborated with the School Counselors. This working relationship, along with her desire to make an impact on a greater scale, inspired Annie to earn a Master of Science in Education in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin. She embodies being a lifelong learner and is continuing her education to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. 

Prior to moving to Hanoi, Annie worked as the School Counselor for a school in Casablanca, Morocco as well as spending the last three years in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Outside of school you will find Annie trying new activities and being active. She loves to sign up for crafting classes and you may find her in the gym training in Muay Thai. She is very excited to be part of the community at SPASH and looks forward to supporting students’ development of social-emotional skills.
