Hailing from the state of Maine (USA), Corey is currently in his twenty third year of teaching and counseling and is excited to be joining the St. Paul community as the middle school counselor. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Secondary Education from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, a Master of Arts degree in French from the University of Arizona, and a Master of Education degree in School Counseling from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Prior to arriving here in Hanoi, Corey has lived, worked, and studied at schools in Canada, France, West Africa, India, China, and throughout the United States. Most recently, he spent the past sixteen years in Las Vegas where he taught high school French and was both a high school and middle school counselor. In addition to his great passion for travel, Corey enjoys spending time with friends, cooking, volunteering, and tennis in his free time. Most importantly, Corey feels very fortunate to serve as an advocate for the SPASH middle school student body and to meet the social emotional needs of the greater school community.
