Happy Tet ~ Chuc Mung Nam Moi!

The Vietnamese Lunar New Year starts this week and we’d like to wish our community and their families a Happy New Year! Tet is the most celebrated holiday of our host country, Vietnam. According to the Vietnamese zodiac calendar, 2021 is the year of the ox!  The ox symbolizes steady progress, patience, strength, and dependability.

As our school transitioned to online learning before the Tet break, students have had to celebrate virtually including a padlet page (see below) where elementary students artistically created and shared images of the ox. Teachers and teaching assistants created videos of dances and life around Hanoi to celebrate and share with everyone (see below). We hope everyone has a safe, happy Tet and look forward to seeing everyone when school resumes on Monday, February 22nd!
